  Tess McNulty Wins New York PDAA Title

  Tess McNulty and Jane Kessner PARSIPPANY, N.J. — It was a round that you wouldn’t see in the NCAA, but that you could see in the PDAA: the Juliard School facing off against the University of Maryland in a championship round. Really. The PDAA December Madness, part of the Pinnacle Winter Seminar in New York, came to a close late Sunday afternoon. Forty-eight debaters — representing the colleges of their choice — vied for the PDAA Championship and — in a separate breakout — the “Frosh-Soph NIT” title.
